I recommend bolting the hitch (with nice big washers) instead, because hitches tend to be a consumable in my experience

no bevels before welding, not even cleaning it of factory gunk. thick tubing and thin welds means half of its strength is unused

You must be so excited now that you are so close to 100 % completion. I think the vinyl flooring will hold up very well as it is meant to be waterproof on the floor, let alone the walls with gravity to help😊

A coat of red guard over the plywood would have been good. You wouldn't have to worry if any water got behind the vinyl planks.

Real blizzards are rare..you can't hear anything but the roar of the wind driven snow..you need a guide line to get to the garage or shed .or you won't make it back. You're disoriented immediately by the overwhelming power with eyes blinded by 70mph snow/ ice blasting into them. Wind chill so insane that no outdoor gear will do much for long...real blizzards you hunker down scared..and you don't leave the house..until it's over.

Well… if you were my next door neighbor I would have gave you some Formica. Got over 400 sheets I got years ago. Plan on using some for a shower surround myself. They make little plastic corner strips.

Great review. One item you didn’t cover is how easy is it to remove and put up on the roof of the pickup. I’d prefer it not be up there all the time, unless I know I’ll be needing it soon.

One of the best modifications for these tents I've seen was a vent setup to let air pass through the inside of the closed roof tent while driving so it drys out better between uses.

Looks like a good setup. Time will tell about it's durability.
